These terms apply when you use CheapMocks (https://cheapmocks.com) and when you buy access to our products. By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
1. Who we are
CheapMocks is operated by [LEGAL NAME], organisation number [ORG NUMBER], [STREET ADDRESS], [POSTCODE] [CITY], Norway. You can contact us at support@cheapmocks.com.
2. What we provide
CheapMocks is an online practice platform for candidates preparing for the CFA® Program Level I exam. It offers timed mock exams, practice questions, explanations and score reports. Some content is free (with or without an account); other content requires a one-off purchase. What each product includes is described on the product and pricing pages at the time you buy it.
3. No affiliation with CFA Institute
CFA Institute does not endorse, promote, or warrant the accuracy or quality of the products or services offered by CheapMocks. CFA® and Chartered Financial Analyst® are trademarks owned by CFA Institute. All questions on CheapMocks are original and are not taken from CFA Institute materials or past exams.
4. Your account
- You sign in with a link sent to your email address or with your Google account.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
- An account is for one person. Keep access to your email account secure; you are responsible for activity on your CheapMocks account.
- Give us an email address you control, so that you can receive sign-in links and purchase information.
5. Purchases and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms, which Paddle shows at checkout.
- Prices are shown in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is calculated by Paddle at checkout based on your location.
- All products are one-off purchases. There are no subscriptions and no automatic renewals.
- Access is added to your account as soon as Paddle confirms the payment, usually within seconds.
6. How long you have access
Paid products are available for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless the product page states a longer period. Free content may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
7. Licence and acceptable use
We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the content for your own exam preparation. You must not:
- share your account, or let other people use content you have bought;
- copy, publish, sell or otherwise distribute questions, explanations or other content, in whole or in part;
- scrape, download in bulk or use automated tools to access the site;
- use the content to train or build artificial-intelligence models or competing products;
- try to bypass access controls or interfere with the site's security or operation.
8. Content and results
We write every question ourselves and check it carefully, but mistakes can happen. If you find an error, tell us at support@cheapmocks.com and we will correct it. Mock scores and bands are indicative only: CFA Institute does not publish a pass mark, and we cannot guarantee any exam result.
9. Intellectual property
All content on CheapMocks, including questions, explanations, text, design and software, belongs to [LEGAL NAME] or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using CheapMocks at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing or copying content. If we close your account without a good reason under these terms, we will refund the unused part of any paid product.
11. Liability
CheapMocks is provided for exam practice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
12. Changes
We may update these terms, for example when we add products or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not reduce what you have already bought.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to solve any problem. Consumers in Norway can also get help from the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet).
