Exam-quality practice, at a price that makes sense

CheapMocks makes CFA® Level I mock exams and practice questions, and nothing else. We think the best preparation in the final weeks is timed practice under exam conditions, followed by a careful review of every mistake, and that it shouldn't cost as much as a full course.

How every question is made

Every question is original and follows a written house style, so the whole bank feels like one exam:

• Exam format. Three options with one best answer, stems that end the way Level I questions do, and distractors built from realistic mistakes such as a wrong formula or a missed step.
• No formulas in the question. As on the exam, you are given the data, not the formula. The formula and the full working are in the explanation.
• Every answer explained. Each explanation shows why the correct answer is right and why each of the two other options is wrong.
• Calculations verified. Every numerical answer, and every numerical distractor, is recomputed independently before a question can go live.
• Reviewed before release. A question appears on the site only after it has been reviewed and approved. A mock goes live only when all 180 of its questions are approved.

How we keep questions accurate

Every question has a Report an error button, and every report is read and resolved. We also watch how each question is answered: one that most strong candidates get wrong, or where a wrong option is unusually popular, is flagged and checked again.
